CJ has come from a lifetime of training and performing in dance, pole dance and aerial circus as well as having been a model.  In addition, she is a qualified and practising medical practitioner on a background of having qualifications and many years of experience in scientific research.

 

CJ has received many accolades including winning local pole dance and aerial competitions and having been a finalist in a national aerial arts competition.  CJ was also awarded The Young Scientific Investigator of the Year in the infancy of her scientific career and was invited to complete part of her graduate training at the prestigious Duke University Research Triangle Park in the United States on a scholarship-type arrangement.  CJ has always had a secret love of writing and has turned her hand in more recent years to writing including developing screenplays for film, television and the stage, script doctoring and writing for corporate settings.

 

Having been trained by some of the best dance teachers, choreographers and aerialists over a more than forty-year career CJ now shares her knowledge of technique and performance with both budding and seasoned artists of all kinds, helping all to create technically and creatively stunning performances.  In addition, CJ has both choreographed and been assistant choreographer on a variety of works for both individuals and large groups across a wide range of events.

 

CJ has always had a passion for working with minority groups, individuals living in challenging circumstances and people living with disabilities and has done so since her teenage years.  Since 2015 CJ has been living, working and performing with a disability and insists on all-access, inclusive services for her clients in all aspects of her working life.  CJ has completed a Diploma of Auslan and is able to communicate with Deaf and Deafblind and has also completed accredited training in Holistic Circus Therapy for people with special needs.

As an actor, acting coach, director, filmmaker, photographer, editor and above all storyteller Jackson is no stranger to success in front of the camera and behind the scenes.  Jackson has had longstanding success as the lead of a successful TV series as well as roles in feature films, TV series’ and stage productions.

 

Jackson is sought after for his talent in storytelling through his crafts and as well as being a finalist in several photographic competitions he also directed and starred in an award-winning short film of his own making.  Due to his talent for capturing the heart, soul and skills of individuals Jackson has been selectively hired for his storytelling ability by major commercial television stations for major international sporting events.  More recently Jackson has expanded his photography portfolio developing his own style of street photography and storytelling through images in The Arts, particularly in the music industry and is also highly sought after in the business sector.

 

Having been trained by some of the best acting coaches around and then going on to spend years working as an accomplished actor Jackson now shares his knowledge with graduate and experienced actors alike offering tuition in skills that are not yet offered by conventional acting schools.  Not limiting himself to the acting world Jackson also uses acting skills and techniques to help people from all walks of life gain confidence, knowledge and success in their lives and careers.  Jackson has taught editing as well as the ‘ins and outs’ of broadcast television at a tertiary level. 

 

Jackson has worked with young people with social and learning challenges to guide them in a meaningful life journey through acting and believes that The Arts should be accessible to and inclusive of all.
